Lincoln Savings Bank Moves to Main Street Cedar Falls

Lincoln Savings Bank’s Washington Street employees will be moving to their new Main Street location in Spring of 2021.

Cedar Falls, Iowa: Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) finalized a purchase agreement on a new property downtown Cedar Falls in June and has since begun impressive new construction. Emergent Architecture, based in Cedar Falls, has been working on the interior construction and expects the building to be complete in early February. Finishing touches will then be made before employees move over to the office, with a tentative open date of April 19th.

Employees at the Cedar Falls Downtown branch and Main Street LSB Financial Services office will be occupying the new facility, including those from LSB’s Wealth Management, Trust & Insurance teams. “302 Main allows us to keep growing and stay downtown,” said Erik Skovgard, President and CEO of Lincoln Savings Bank. “Our primary objective in designing the space was to be aligned with our saga which is, ‘Love our employees, and the customers we serve.’ We want employees to love their workplace and clients to feel welcome as soon as they walk through the door.”

LSB’s Washington Street location was their first branch to open in Cedar Falls and was acquired from Mercantile Bank Midwest in early 2000, marking their arrival in the metro area. For the next few months until their move, they can be found on the corner of Washington and West 3rd Streets near the Main Street district.

Lincoln Savings Bank currently employs over 320 employees in the Cedar Valley and Des Moines markets, as well as several rural communities throughout the state. Project updates will be provided to the public through MeetAbe.com, LSB’s social channels, and additional news announcements.
